Thank you so much. It is so lovely receiving plant support in more depth. I will share it with friends.

Most of the research you refer to relates to different Coronaviruses. It may not have any relevance for Covid 19. If only if was that easy to cure...

That's true Anne as we haven't had enough time to get everything tested against the current coronavirus and herbs are often last on the list to get any notice. However, plants tend not to specialise against just one species of bacteria or viruses in the way that drugs do. Their complex nature allows them to have a broader sweep. (For example, I work a lot with Cryptolepis (Ghanaian quinine) in my clinic. To date this has shown to be antimicrobial in vitro against both gram-positive (e.g. Borrelia) and gram-negative (e.g. Bartonella) bacteria as well as plasmodia (e.g. Babesia and Malaria) and parasites.) As we have nothing else to go on to help during the interval between catching the virus and hospitalisation, I personally think that it's worth adding in herbs and spices with a long track record as culinary or traditional medicinal herbs, rather than to do nothing. Thanks for your feedback.
